Congratulations to Rebecca Pereles who won the TEENAGER OF THE YEAR Award from Kiwanis Capital District Foundation.  The Capital District has 6 regions, 17 divisions and 154 clubs from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.  

“The purpose of this award is to give recognition to deserving teenagers for their academic achievements, citizenship, service to their school and community, growth and responsibility in his/her family unit, character and leadership performance.”

 Rebecca also received one of the 5 awarded Key Club Capital District Scholarships, which was awarded at the Key Club Capital District Conference held March 17-19 in Baltimore, MD.

Welcome back, everyone!

On behalf of the faculty, administration, and all of our support personnel, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Waynesboro High School's website.  WHS has evolved into a school recognized for it outstanding academic programs, varied extracurricular activities, and competitive athletic teams.  We are looking forward to an exciting and productive school year!
